HOW DOES IT LOOK IN EVERYDAY LIFE?

Here are some thoughts-----

keeping focussed on the goal

forgiving yourself and others --no matter what-

respecting and honouring your own needs, ideas, feelings

building resilience - we'll need it more and more

holding these two thoughts - I am unique and I am a speck of dust on the surface of the universe

make manifest your own glory

I usually remember to protect myself every day on a pyschic level - protection from negative energies, those which are not in harmony with my own. This is easily done for example by mentally placing oneself inside a pyramid or surrounding oneself with white light.

I was reminded recently how important it is to do this more often during the day. I was attending an event where there was high positive energy and something happened which upset me as an agreement was not kept. I expressed this, hoping to receive empathy and support; wrong! Instead, what came my way was a barrage of negativity.

Why? I have some ideas: perhaps, in some cases, when folks are on a high from a positive experience, they feel a need to hang onto this and not engage with those who aren't completely on that wavelength at that moment, incase they lose it for themselves. For the person needing empathy and  support, this can be really difficult if you have not taken care to protect yourself adequately.

Lesson learnt:  to protect myself at regular intervals throughot the day.

I pass this on in the hope that it is helpful

'Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.' quote from Marianne Williamson and used by Nelson Mandela in his inaugural speech.

Many people lack confidence to show up in the world and manifest their dreams; are you  one of them? I believe we would live in a very different world if we had the confidence to show up and express who we really are in the world. The good news is that confidence is a skill that can be learnt. By building up your confidence, you can change your life - and affect those around you in a positive way.

Find yourself a Personal Development Practitioner who has this specialism and begin now - you certainly won't regret it!

It's so important to remember that working too hard just doesn't work in the long-term; it does not lead to balance and harmony. I find that if I do it,, I inevitably have to compensate in some way, perhaps the next day  - I may be tired or out of sorts. I advocate  - and aim - to practise living in my own rhythm, which is, of course, a female rhythm. When you are in this rhythm, you see the whole picture and not just what is in front of you - and you act or don't act accordingly
