THE LIVING EXCELLENTLY 6 - MONTH PROGRAMME

* Are you feeling stuck or frustrated in your life?

If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, the Living Excellently Programme may be for you.

 I'll show you how to increase your awareness of your true worth and your  unique combination of skills, talents and abilities. And how to manifest these in the world in such a way that you make a difference and also feel fulfilled and happy.

Who is it for?
It is for those who have already done some Personal Development Work and are now ready and willing to go more deeply.

What does it look like?

* The bed-rock of the Living Excellently Programme is group sessions in Confidence-Building and Assertion Skills - learning to build your self-esteem and resilience and sound your note in the world.
*  This is under-pinned by one-to-one Life Coaching sessions which will help you to define your life path and move forward.
*   A key feature of the Living Excellently Programme is 3 Community-Building sessions. You will meet like-spirited people who may be your future companions and supporters on this path.

   Participating in this Programme will help you to say goodbye to frustration and uncertainty about where you are going in your life; and hello to inner solidity and resilience and a sense of clarity and rightness about your path.

More details:
 - the programme runs over 4 months.
 - 2 days of Building Self-esteem and Confidence (group)
 - 6 hours of Life Coaching (one-to-one)
 - 2 Community-Building sessions - Be the Change you want in the world; consolidating what you have learnt and how you intend to move forward, and affirming links and connections.

*  Optional individual Style Coaching sessions, helping you to identify the image you wish to portray and learning how to enhance that image through clothes and colour.

 Through participating in this Programme, you get the benefit of both group and individual work. 3.ASSERTION TRAINING AND CONFIDENCE-BUILDING

'Change occurs when you become who you are, not when you try to become who you are not.'

I qualified to teach Assertion Training with the Redwood Institute (run by Anne Dickson) in 1986. I have co-authored a book 'Assertion Training: How To Be who you Really Are', published by Routledge.

What are the benefits?

4.   POSITIVE AGEING

Helping you to take charge of your own ageing process

  1. tools to help you  to age excellently, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually
  2. celebrate your life so far
  3. what do you need to let go of in order to move forward into the next phase?
  4. what do you want in your next phase? It could be something completely different from your past

Also pre- and post-retirement courses for groups and organisations

Courses for those working with older people - These are organised according to the needs of the particular organisation and may include use of language, assertive and respectful communication, reminiscence work.
I have worked with older people's groups across London, helping them to change aspects of life both locally and nationally; I have run a Project for Healthy Living for over 50s where participants were inspired to take steps towards positive ageing

5.  LIFE COACHING
An holistic approach, working with the Client to enable her/him to live an excellent, happy and meaningful life. As a Life Coach, I may act as:

  • your partner in achieving your goals
  • your guide, helping you to make choices
  • your mentor - encouraging you
  • your motivator when you feel down
  • your co-designer in project-creation
  • your trainer in needed life skills
  • your support - I won't judge you
  • your champion - someone who knows your worth - and reminds you.

  Life Coaching usually takes place over the telephone; if the Client prefers the  first session to be face-to-face, that can be arranged. Initially, I ask the Client to fill in a questionnaire which will give me some background information. The number of sessions is by agreement, as is the length of each session (usually three-quarters of an hour or an hour).
   Benefits include:
 - being happier and more fulfilled
 - feeling at ease with yourself
 - getting more balance in your life
 - achieving more success in your chosen field
 - increased confidence and sense of well-being
 - sense of inner peace
 - getting clear regarding your unique contribution to the world
Cost is: £75 for three-quarters of an hour; this includes email contact and quick calls inbetween sessions

6.  Style Coaching™

Style Coaching™ is about enabling people to express themselves with confidence both through their appearance and also through valuing who they are, confidence within. One enhances the other - looking good, and grounding that in building positive beliefs about yourself. In short, looking good and feeling great!

 - Updating your self-image

 - Shopping for clothes which make you look and feel good

    I have different packages available, for example:
Style and Colour - 2 hours - £130
Colour and Self-Image - 1.5 hours - £100
Colour, Confidence and Style - 2.5 hours - £155
An hour's session is £70.

   I trained with Colour me Beautiful and have been helping people  to understand which colours suit them and enhance their appearance for many years. More recently, I trained with the Style Coaching Institute to enhance and extend my skills in Image Consultancy.

7.  PILATES
This is a wonderful way to transform your body image, increase your energy and improve your posture and your body shape. I am qualified to teach mat-based Pilates and I draw on extensive experience of other exercise and body awareness methods.
I run classes and individual sessions.
I also run classes for over 50s.
